I was able to discard him the same turn he came into play. Best part was getting Fierce Defense right in time for the Nazgul to be added to the staging area. I lucked out with Pippin as the prisoner anyway. I also made sure the heroes overlapped in roles and there were plan B's in place depending who was the prisoner. This kept from having the Cavern Guardian from wrecking my board state. The combat deck had 2 heroes that could cancel shadows at the start. This was a tremendous help in making questing easy. Most importantly, it had ways to bypass travel effects and put progress on locations in the staging area. ![]() The quest and location control deck I made sure had condition removal for Caught in a Web. I built a 2 handed fellowship to tech against the quest. I said last week that I wanted to destroy this quest, and I feel like I did this past weekend.
